    Philip Lewis has trained and worked within the hospitality industry for over 12 years.

    Philip has strong versatile culinary abilities and extensive experience working in all areas of the kitchen. His passion and culinary knowledge have given him an advanced understanding of modern cooking trends and progressions.

    Philip has worked all over the UK as well as in Europe within a variety of high profile establishments, for example, Lochgreen House Hotel of Costley & Costley Hotels. He is also heavily involved with Gordon Ramsay's Gala Dinner for the Scottish Spina Bifida Charity.

    Philip has an addictive presence in the kitchen showing off his skills and techniques with his own flair and modest attitude which is why he makes a fabulous Head Chef of the Cook School.

    • Pet hate in the kitchen? Chefs not tasting their food as they cook.
    • Favourite kitchen gadget? Kenwood mixer.
    • Favourite/Least Favourite ingredient? Favourite is langonstine, least favourite is star fruit.
    • Favourite style of cooking? Spanish.
    • Most admired chef? Pierre Koffman.
    • What famous people have you cooked for? Bill Clinton, Bruce Willis, Gwength Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Rod Stewart, Girls Aloud, David Beckham, Lionel Ritchie and Bob Geldoff, to name a few.
    • What age did you start cooking? Since I was knee high.
    • Favourite restaurant? Loccatelli's.
    • Your guilty pleasure food? Wagamama.
