Spend the day in the kitchen learning from Gary Maclean, winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2016.
Gary has been a Chef Lecturer at the City of Glasgow College for
16 years. A passionate educator, his dedication to enriching the
students experience is well documented.
Over the last 20 years he has accumulated a host of national and
international wins from competitions such as the Nestle Torque
D'Or, World Skills Culinary Arts UK Finals, Craft Guild Awards
2015, The Nations Cup 2015, CIS Awards to name but a few.
He has been a strategic restaurant consultant helping to launch
over 80 establishments across Scotland working for a variety of
high profile brands. Gary has also held executive chef positions at
two of Scotland's biggest independent operators and his current
role as Senior Lecturer at City of Glasgow College is what really
drives his passion for mentoring other young chefs and creative

Our full day classes offer you the chance to spend a day in the
kitchen with our expert chefs where you will learn how to cook a
range of delicious dishes from your chosen theme.
Your day begins in our dining room where you will have the chance
to meet other guests in class while enjoying with tea/coffee and a
You will then move through to the kitchen where our chef will
begin to demonstrate your chosen dishes. Each guest has their own
individual state of the art cooking station where they recreate the
dish our chef has demonstrated. Our chef will be on hand throughout
the day to assist.
Once you've finished cooking in the afternoon you will have the
chance to sit down, relax and enjoy a two course lunch which you
will have made along with a glass of wine.
Timing: 9.45am and finish around 3pm.
