Are you envious every time you see a professional chef on
television fillet fish, slice and dice vegetables or bone a chicken
breast? They make it look so easy, but it's not something that's
easy to master on your own.
Our new Knife Skills class will give you the chance to spend a
day in the kitchen with our chefs learning the art of filleting
fish, butchery and slicing and dicing vegetables.
Throughout the day you will have the chance to learn the basics
from how to handle a knife properly, which knife to use for each
task and knife safety, right through to techniques such as how to
julienne your vegetables and fillet a fish.
Your knife skills tutorial will form part of a full day class
where you will get the chance to prepare several dishes from start
to finish at your own state of the art cooking station.
Once you've finished cooking in the afternoon you will have the
chance to sit down, relax and enjoy a two course lunch which you
will have made along with a glass of wine.

- Fennel and Orange Salad
- Lamb Koftas
- Caramel, Chilli and Mint Pineapple
Class prepares/makes: cured bream, onions,
pickled veg, koftas, spatchcock poussin and marinade, segment
Chef demonstrates: joint chicken, podina,
cooking poussin, fennel (mandolin), pineapple
Timing: 9.45am until around 3pm.
