    Delve into the world of curry in our evening taster class. Learn about a range of different curries from traditional Indian to interesting New World curries with tasters of each.

    These classes are an introduction to the world of curry, with dishes from South East Asia to the Indian sub-continent. Enjoy a glass of wine while our chef demonstrates techniques for making fresh curry pastes and blending your own spice mixes to create a selection curries and accompaniments. You'll enjoy tasters throughout the demonstrations followed by a two course meal served with wine.*

    Menu for 16th February & 14th April 2018:

    • South Vietnamese prawn and fish curry with ginger and turmeric
    • Massamam lamb curry with potatoes and peanuts
    • Thai red duck curry with lime leaf and palm sugar
    • Steamed Jasmine rice
    • Coconut rice pudding with almonds and raisins


    Menu for 1st March & 11th April 2018:

    • Chapatti
    • Lamb with ginger and curry leaves
    • Turkey, cumin and red lentil dumplings with aubergine brinjal
    • Goan prawn skewers with scented rice
    • Cauliflower fritters with hot chilli sauce
    • Spiced fruit with semolina cake and yogurt


    Menu for 15th February & 28th March 2018:

    • Flat bread
    • Sri Lankan chicken curry with coconut and curry leaves
    • Steamed fish parcels with green masala
    • Four lentil Dhal
    • Rice Pilaf
    • Coconut rice pudding with almonds and raisins


    Time: Start 5.45pm - around 9.30pm.

    * Package includes three glasses of wine per person. Additional wine available for £12 per bottle. Please note that menus are subject to change due to availability and seasonality of foods.
