    Our chef will show you a range of cooking techniques, whether it is steamed, pan fried, or oven roasted; we have a recipe for you.

    Throughout our Scottish Fish and Seafood evening, our chef will demonstrate techniques for cooking wonderful fresh fish and seafood. You'll enjoy a glass of wine while our chef demonstrates the skills for filleting and cooking fish plus will show you how to prepare some delicious sauces. Following the cookery demonstrations, you'll move through to our dining room where you will enjoy a two course meal with wine.*

    Menu for 15th August 2018:

    • Spicy fish broth with noodles and prawn dumplings
    • Scallop with sweet potato, grilled chilli sauce
    • Salmon, leek and courgette rolls with green olive sauce
    • Monkfish scampi with herb salad
    • Grilled mackerel in dill, mustard and crème fraiche
    • Chocolate and almond brownie

     

    Menu for 29th August 2018:

    • Dinner rolls
    • Smoked haddock and cauliflower soup with thyme oil
    • Mussels - with 3 sauces, tomato and herb, thai chilli and marinere
    • Beer batter fish and chips with real tartare sauce
    • Baked fillet of sea bass with herb crust, served with seasonal risotto
    • Lemon delicious pudding


    Menu for 6th September and 22nd September 2018:

    • Soda Bread
    • Seafood Chowder
    • Langoustine, pea and basil risotto
    • "3" Fishcakes with Tarragon Mayonnaise
    • Sea Bream Fillet Baked Courgette, Fennel, Chilli and Mint
    • Buttermilk Pudding with Spiced Baked Fruit.

     

    Menu for 8th November 2018:

    • Seafood risotto
    • Poached salmon with lemon mayonnaise and rocket
    • Thai style fishcakes and cucumber salad
    • Pan fried fillet of halibut with celeriac and smoked haddock slaw
    • Caramel parfait with honeycomb

     

    Menu for 16th November 2018:

    • Asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon with hollaindaise sauce
    • Cook School Fish Supper with mushy peas
    • Seared king scallops with Stornoway black pudding and apple
    • Pan fried fillet of sea bream with safforn cocotte potatoes, tenderstem broccoli with almonds and lemon beurre blanc
    • Raspberry posset

     

    Menu for 29th November 2018:

    • Cullen skink
    • Home cured mackeral and pickled vegetables
    • Salt and pepper squid
    • Roasted hake fillet wrapped in pancetta and white bean cassoulet and pesto
    • Vanilla cheesecake

     

    Time: Starts 5.45pm - around 9.30pm.

    * Package includes three glasses of wine per person. Additional wine available for £12 per bottle. Please note that menus are subject to change due to availability and seasonality of foods.
